METHOD AND DEVICE FOR RESERVATION OF RETRIEVAL OF CONTAINER IN CONTAINER TERMINAL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten the wait time of a trailer for retrieving containers from a container yard. SOLUTION: This reservation device comprises a radio IC document tag 11 having physical distribution information such as container numbers inputted therein and set in a trailer 2 entering a container terminal to receive the containers and a check gate antenna 12 installed on the upstream side of the passage 18 of the trailer 2 entering the container terminal and communicating with the radio IC document tag 11, and a computer having the physical distribution information such as container numbers from the antenna 12 inputted therein and transmitting the command for preparation of retrieval of the containers 9 to the operator of a yard crane 7 in the container yard 10.
