PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine, which performs data transmission be tween controllers, capable of appropriately reading data in a receiving side controller even if a power failure occurs. SOLUTION: When a power failure occurs during a game controller 100 transmits a prize-ball control instruction data to a discharge controller 400, the machine transmits the prize-ball control instruction data for the remaining time period TB of a predetermined transmission time period Ts after restoration of power. The discharge controller 400 starts reading data when a predetermined standby time period T elapses after the leading edge of a strobe signal. The standby time period T is set shorter than a half of the predetermined transmission time period Ts. When reading data is performed before the power failure, a reading flag is set to inhibit reading data during the transmission of the prize-ball control instruction data for the remaining time period TB after the power failure.
