PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a track and road vehicle for welding operation capable of shortening the time for the operations ranging from the preparations to the completion of a track welding operation including the rearrangement after the operation, easily installing a welder at site, and increasing the efficiency of the operation. SOLUTION: This track and road vehicle for welding operation comprises tires for running on a road, steel wheels for track for running on a track, and a rise supporting device having a lower end part coming into contact with the ground and also having body raising and swinging functions. A panel van having an opening part at the right and left side and rear faces is installed on the frame of the track and road vehicle, and at least a generator, a gas cylinder for welding, and a working device for welding operation are disposed on the floor surface of the panel van. Track wheels rolling on the tracks are installed on the outer surfaces of a rear door covering a rear opening part, and the rear door is tilted rearward through a lower hinge, lowered by a hydraulic device, and put on the track. Then, the rear door is separated from the panel van so as to roll on the track.
