摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a satellite orbit control by a system and a method for satellite orbit control of the present invention. SOLUTION: A system includes a satellite 12, and at least an electric and/or chemical thruster 15, and a control processor of which control outputs are connected to the plural thrusters 15. In the system and the method, an orbit control algorithm is mounted to determine the current orbit of the satellite 12, to determine whether stationary holding of the satellite is executed or not, to determine jetting of the thruster for implementing a desired change of an orbit parameter when the result of the determination is to execute the stationary holding, to jet the thruster and execute the stationary holding, thereby to carry out a longitude control of the satellite. The invention may be used together with an orbit determining procedure such as a GPS 18 or distance measuring, regardless of a case whether an orbit propagation is involved or not, and may be used together with any stationary holding algorithm for calculating the jetting of the thruster based on the correction of a desired orbit parameter.
