PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transporting device such as motor-driven wheelchair including front steering wheels and rear steering wheels arranged in a smaller spacing, which does not influence the stability of the wheelchair, whereby excellent cornering characteristics with smaller turning radius can be established. SOLUTION: The motor-driven wheelchair 1 is equipped with a frame 2, a plurality of casters 10 attached to the frame rotatably and supporting it, a pair of front steering wheels 13 and rear steering wheels 14 installed to the frame fore and aft in its advancing direction, a motor 15 to drive the rear driving wheels, and a steering mechanism 16 to change the direction so that the rotating direction of the front steering wheels is opposite to the rotating direction of the rear steering wheels.
