PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a spherical surface machining method in a conventional lens polishing device. SOLUTION: This spherical surface machining method in a lens polishing device, for machining a lens to be machined into a spherical surface by pressurizing, rotating and oscillating the lens to be machined to a tool plate having the spherical surface comprises a method for oscillating an oscillation body by providing a pressurizing shaft for pressurizing the lens to be machined on the axis passing the center of the spherical surface of the tool plate and rotatably supporting it, and a method for supporting the oscillation body by guiding the spherical body taking the center of the spherical surface of the tool plate as its center by oscillation of the oscillation body. The lens polishing device oscillates the tool plate by the oscillation of the oscillation body.
