PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resistance spot welding equipment which is easily operated and with which the working efficiency is improved. SOLUTION: The equipment is provided with a first actuator 2 for driving an electrode tip 5, a gun arm 7 supporting the first actuator and having electrode tips 6 on its tip, a positive and a negative power supplies 10 which are electrically connected ?to the electrode tips, respectively and fixed on the side of the gun arm, a positive and a negative fixed contactors 13 and 14 located coaxially with a rotating shaft of a suspender device 25 and connected to the positive and the negative power supplies, respectively, a positive and a negative movable contactors 15 and 16 located coaxially with the rotating shaft of the suspender device 25 and connected to the power supply line of a welding transformer, and a second actuator which opens and closes the mechanical and electrical connections between the positive and the negative fixed contactors and the positive and the negative movable contactors by moving the positive and the negative movable contactors along the rotating shaft of the suspender device.
