SOLUTION: The mat device comprises a main body 1 having a sufficient size to be used with the whole body of a person lying on it and a sufficient hardness to be sunk with the weight of the person's body, and a charged layer is formed on the contact surface or near the contact surface of the main body 1 with the person's body. The mat device also has a negative ion source 3 for supplying negative ions to the charged layer. Therefore, various effects of negative ions on the person's body can be expected as well as the effect of preventing putrefaction caused by a bedsore. |
