PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a contact chip which can reduce the cost and improve the environment by prolonging the service life of a sub chip, and bas high reliability. SOLUTION: This contact chip comprises the cylindrical sub chip 3 having a wire insertion hole 11 in the axial direction, a chip body 2 having a wire insertion hole 9 in the axial direction and provided with a fitting hole 7 for fitting an end of the sub chip 3 in a distal part, and fixing means 4 and 10 for fixing a state that the sub chip 3 is fitted to the fitting hole 7. By fitting the sub chip 3 in the fitting hole 7 and fixing the fitting state by the fixing means 4 and 10, the wire insertion hole 9 of the chip body 2 and the wire insertion hole 11 of the sub chip 3 are arranged concentrically with each other.
