PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polybutadiene rubber having good characteristics of hardness, elasticity (particularly at a low elongation), etc. SOLUTION: This rubber consists of (A) 10-80 wt.% of a specified natural rubber and/or a diene synthetic rubber components, (B) 5-60 wt.% of specified reinforced polybutadiene rubber component, and (C) 5-70 wt.% of specified fiber-reinforced rubber component. (B) component consists of 1-30 wt.% of in boiling n-hexane insoluble syndiotactic-1,2-polybutadiene having 0.5-4 of reduced specific viscosity and 70-99 wt.% of in boiling n-hexane soluble high- cis-1,4-polybutadiene. (C) component is fiber reinforced rubber containing thermoplastic polymer with amide group in main chain which is dispersed as a fine fibrous state in the matrix rubber consisting of vulcanizable elastomer and the fibrous thermoplastic polymer is bonded to the elastomer.
