PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slab reversing device to eliminate deficiency to make a conventional device a large structure and cause flaw etc., on a slab surface to make reversing operation unstable etc., in the slab reversing device to reverse a slab material for inspection of the flaws etc., on a front and a back of the slab material to be carried on a roller table. SOLUTION: The slab reversing device is constituted of a plural number of C frames by stopping the slab material in the middle of carriage, elevating it for lifting and landing, moving it to a position with no hindrance for slab material reversing operation and laterally moving the reversed slab material to a line position and a rotating arm for reversion arranged between the C frames in the line direction and to carry out reversing operation by receiving the lifted slab material. Consequently, it is possible to carry out reversion of the slab material by a pair of the rotating arms for reversion, to eliminate the above deficiency, to arrange a drive device of the rotating arm for reversion by separating it from the line, to facilitate supply of motive power and increase longevity by improving a maintaining property without exposing it at high temperature.
