PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat shrinking packaging device having a high universal characteristic in use in which its small-size formation can be accomplished, a packaging work can be carried out easily and efficiently and further both its independent use and its assembling into an automatic packaging line can be performed. SOLUTION: A heat shrinking packaging device 1 is operated such that rotary members 41, 42 are rotationally driven by a driving segment 5 around a horizontal shaft arranged in a heating chamber 3 and one or more tables 6 supported by the rotary member 42 to mount and transfer a packed item (a) into the heating chamber 3 are also rotated around their rotating axes together with the rotary member 42. A packaging film is heated and heat shrunk while the rotary members 41, 42 are rotated by one turn and then the packaging film is closely adhered to a circumferential surface of the packaged item (a) to package it, resulting in that the packaged item (a) becomes a packaging completed item. The packaging completed item is discharged out of the heat shrinking packaging device from its discharging position formed on the same side surface as that of a feeding position in the heating chamber 3 through turning operation of the tables 6.
