PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a casting metallic mold with which each cast position in a cast formed product can be made a desirable structure. SOLUTION: At a position that forms a journal part in a first metallic mold 22 and a second metallic mold 24 of a cast metallic mold device 10 for casting a cam shaft for an internal combustion engine, movable inserts 32a, 32b which can be removed from the mold independently with opening the first metallic mold 22 and the second metallic mold 24, are set by advancing/retreating under action of a hydraulic cylinder 50. Further, the surface position of molten metal L in a cavity, is detected with laser beam sensors 48a-48d, and after the molten metal surface reaches a prescribed position and a prescribed time is passed through, the movable insert 32a or 32b is removed from the mold.
