PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a separation device with an inexpensive and simple structure capable of efficiently separating a mixed solid substance from a liquid. SOLUTION: The separation device separates a mixed solid substance existing in a liquid (b) utilizing a gravity difference. The separation device is provided with a flexible container 1 in which the liquid (b) is filled; and a partition means 3 capable of partitioning the inside of the container 1 by placing this container 1 at an optional position and pressing it from the outside.
