METHOD FOR JOINING SOLID MEMBERS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for joining solid members, wherein a high joining strength is available in a short time without generating a step at the joining part of the solid members. SOLUTION: The solid members are arranged in the axial direction and an insert metal 3, whose melting point is lower than that of the solid members 1 and 2 and thickness is 80μm or larger, is inserted between the solid members 1 and 2. The solid members 1 and 2 are pressurized in the direction of the abutted plane at a pressure of 5 MPa or larger and the joining part is heated by such a heating means as a high frequency induction device.
