PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a releasant composition which is useful in the production of a releasant excellent in glossiness, releasability, and in surface state, with its surface having an electrification resisting feature, and is capable of enduring repeated use, and a releasant made of this releasant composition. SOLUTION: The releasant composition includes (A) an alkyd resin, (B) an amino resin, (C) a silicone resin containing a functional group reactive with the alkyd resin and/or the amino resin, and (D) a cationic surfactant which occupies 0.05-10 pts.wt. per the total of 100 pts.wt. of the components (A), (B), and (C).
