PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery voltage detector capable of rapidly detecting cell voltage and transmitting data to a host control device in a short time. SOLUTION: Multiplexers 20a, 20b, 20c, etc., and analog-to-digital converters 30a, 30b, 30c, etc., are provided for each of modules 1a, 1b, 1c, etc. The respective multiplexers 20a, 20b, 20c, etc., are successively connected to the respective cells of the corresponding modules to successively input cell voltage to the analog-to-digital converters. All the multiplexers take such action in parallel to successively input cell voltage to a CPU 40 from the respective analog-to- digital converters 30a, 30b, 30c, etc. The CPU 40 outputs the digital data of cell voltage inputted in one period, as one packet to an external device, thus transmitting efficiently detected cell voltage.
