PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make efficient work possible by facilitating the attaching and detaching operation of a body to be inspected in an inspection apparatus for hard disks. SOLUTION: This inspection apparatus performs product inspection by using the setting jigs in which plural setting sections A to E for setting the hard disks in the same direction are arranged parallel, connectors 22 electrically connected to the inspection apparatus are arranged in the respective setting sections, and are provided with mechanisms for removing the hard disks set in the setting sections by pushing and moving the hard disks in the removal direction from the connectors. The apparatus performs product inspection by housing the setting jigs described above into a main body and activating the hard disks under the required heating environment. The setting sections are formed by fixing supporting guides 42 and 44 provided with electing pieces for guiding the side face at the prescribed intervals set to meet the transverse dimensions of the hard disks onto substrates for supporting the hard disks. The apparatus is provided with mechanisms for holding the hard disks by pinching the same between the supporting guides and the opposite erecting pieces by thrusting from a flank direction when inserting the hard disks to the supporting guides down to the positions where the hard disks are connected to the connectors.
