PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photomultiplier tube with a good vibration resistance property which is strongly fixed and in which a rattling of dynode to a substrate is prevented. SOLUTION: A dynode Dy2 at a second stage has a curved part Dy2A forming a circular shape cross section and a plane part Dy2B continuously laid to the curved part and a secondary electron surface is constituted by the curved part Dy2A and the plane part Dy2B. Side surface parts Dy2C, Dy2C standingly provided on the curved part Dy2A are press-molded on both longitudinal end parts of the curved part Dy2A. First ear parts Dy2D are outwardly formed on both side surface parts Dy2C. Second ear parts Dy2E are outwardly formed on both longitudinal end parts of the plane part Dy2B. The first ear parts Dy2D and the second ear parts Dy2E do not form a parallel surface each other and are positioned at a constant angle.
