PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hybrid optical information recording medium of satisfactory recording sensitivity and recording characteristics (jitters), particularly in which a dyestuff-recording layer is also formed in the region formed with per-pit and reproduced signals, which are satisfactory in modulation level and satisfy CD standards, can be obtained from the pre pit-formed region. SOLUTION: This optical information recording medium is provided with the dyestuff-recording layer for recording information, which is obtained by forming pits on a disk-shaped transparent substrate, whereon pre-pits and pre- grooves have already been formed, by irradiating the substrate with a laser beam, and a light-reflecting layer which consists of metal and is formed on the dyestuff-recording layer. The groove depth of the pre-pit is set to be within 60-180 nm, that of the pre-groove is set to be within 200-350 nm, and the thickness of the dyestuff-recording layer is set to be within 30-120 nm. An organic dyestuff is incorporated in the dyestuff-recording layer, so that fading coefficient k of the wavelength of the recording laser is between 0.05-0.15. |
