PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color decorative wire rod having color properties abundant in color variations, enabling a color film to take on a beautiful color with a gloss, permitting a color ribbon to be stuck directly fast to the surface of the wire rod and taken as a fixed form and allowing the beautiful glossy color of the color ribbon to be directly brought out into the wire rod, and improve the signal transmission quality of the wire rod. SOLUTION: In the method for allowing the surface of the wire rod 10 made by extruding a plastic material to undergo a winding or knitting operation, the color ribbon 20 is stuck fast to the surface of the wire rod 10 and taken as the fixed form so as to complete the color decorative wire rod when heating the color ribbon 20 for an appropriate time permits a hot-melt bond 25 applied to the surface on the reverse side of the color ribbon 20 to be melted after the wire rod 10 is uniformly covered with at least one color ribbon 20. Consequently, the color decorative wire rod can take on the color properties abundant in the color variations because the color ribbon 20 varies in color. |
