PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a reliable and excellent book purchased periodically without requiring a book purchaser to visit a book store, and to conduct sales service high in value added, in particular book sale, using a network. SOLUTION: This sales method for selling an article on the computor network is provided with a database of information on customers receiving the service, and a database of information on articles sold to the customers, in a server system 1 for providing the sales service. The customer information database has data as to the articles, and data as to persons or organizations selecting the respective articles, and the server system 1 distributes the article information to a client system 2 and deals with orders for the articles, in response to requirement from the client system 2 of the customer. |
