METHOD AND DEVICE FOR OPTIMIZING BURDEN OF CARRIAGE AND TAX

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for optimizing burden of carriage/tax, with which exact article carriage or various taxes can be reported to a customer and the suitable packaging form of each of articles can be judged/selected even when the properties of respective articles ordered by the customer or locations of providers are spread variously. SOLUTION: A server 10 extracts information on style of packing corresponding to the article in order information from an article information file 13. On the basis of the extracted information on style of packing, the server 10 calculates at least one of single article carriage determined by referring to general carriage information 16a and the carriage of plural articles determined by referring to mixed carriage information 16b corresponding to each of styles capable of packaging the articles. The carriage provided as a result of this calculation is defined as article carriage by packaging. The style capable of packaging the article is individual packaging in the case of one article in one order and plural packaging as a set of packaging or plural pieces of packaging mixed while collecting the suitable number of articles when there are plural articles. The server 10 transmits the lowest carriage of the article carriage by packaging to a consumer information terminal 30 as data of carriage or the like.
