PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a handset capable of detecting the vibration of a vocal cords and achieving improvement of vocal clearness even though the vibration is small. SOLUTION: In the handset, a vibration detecting surface 17 of a case 10 contacted to a throat part is formed with thin-walled flexible plastic and also projections 12a-12d for vibration transmission formed in one body with the surface 17 are pressed to a piezoelectric element 11, furthermore the element 11 is installed into the case 10 in such way that spaces are created at both side of the element 11. Even though the vibration is small, the handset allows a detecting of the vibration to transfer it to the element 11, and also allow precise responses of the element 11 to the vibration transferred through the projections 12a-12d.
