PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tungsten halogen lamp capable of preventing halogen from flocculating in the vicinity of an end part within an air tight container to be a conventionally coldest part, preventing an internal lead wire from being fragile or being broken due to corrosion, enhancing vibration proof and shock resistance and improving luminescent efficiency and a lighting system such as a headlight for a vehicle mounted with the same lamp. SOLUTION: These are a tungsten halogen lamp L1 provided with a translucent air tight container 1 having a sealing part 2 formed at an end part, at least a pair of sealing members 31 and 31 sealed within the sealing part 2, internal lead wires 32 and 32 connected with the sealing members 31 and 31, a coiled filament 4 connected between tip parts of the internal lead wires 32 and 32, a heater 5 connected with the coiled filament 4 in parallel between the internal lead wires 32 and 32 and disposed to face the coldest part within the air tight container 1 and halogen and inactive gas filled into the air tight container 1 and a lighting system such as the headlight LH for the vehicle mounted with the lamp L1.
