PURPOSE: A movable structure of a document tray of a facsimile apparatus is provided in a structure that the document tray is set movably so as to smoothly place papers on a paper tray. CONSTITUTION: A facsimile apparatus(1) has a paper tray(6) on which papers are placed at the back of the apparatus, and a cover(10) movable in front of the paper tray to place the papers on the paper tray. The apparatus includes a frame(2) constructed in a manner that a catch(16) and hinge-inserting hole(18) are formed at one side of a frame cover(12) of the facsimile and a stopper protrusion(20) is formed under the hinge-inserting hole, and a document tray(14) one end of which is hinge-combined with the hinge-inserting hole of the frame. The document tray has an insertion hole into which the stopper protrusion is inserted. The insertion hole is formed at the side of a bottom bracket of the document tray. The document tray is moved so secure a marginal space for movement of a paper tray cover.
