PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an n-up print (printing of image data of originals that are uniformly laid out on one output paper sheet) needing only a short processing time without deteriorating the image quality. SOLUTION: In the case of the n-up print, a scanner 2 reads an original and generates a magnified or reduced image matching the number (n), the original size and a printing out paper size. Then a server 3 informs a corresponding printer 4 about the value (n) of the n-up print, the direction of the image and the order of image arrangement of the n-up print. Then the corresponding printer 4 prints out the images on the printing out paper according to the designated arranged order of the n-up print. |
