PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a lead-acid battery capable of surely preventing vibration of a pole plate group in a cell chamber in the lateral direction. SOLUTION: A heating plate H' formed in an irregular surface made of a large number of protruded parts 1a and protruded parts 1b is put on a lower end of a trailing member C constituted by trailing in a cylindrical shape moled by projecting from a back surface of a battery jar cover A, and the lower end is cladded on an upper surface of a positive electrode or negative electrode strap in the battery jar cell chamber in a state of forming an irregular solid heated and softened part by heating and softening it on the irregular surface 1.
