PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a three-dimensional model for medical use and its manufacturing method by which the three-dimensional model of a diseased part of each patient can be produced and obtained in a short time and at a low cost, and quality of examination and training of a remedy of the diseased part can be greatly improved by utilizing the three-dimensional model. SOLUTION: Slice images photographed by a CT/MRI scanner are read-in and laminated to assemble as three-dimensional data. Then a three-dimensional model object region is cut-out by specifying a threshold value, mask regions are cut-out by further dividing an region, from which an object image region is extracted, to each specified three-dimensional block. Cut-out mask regions are laminated on the slice image to produce the three-dimensional model, the slice image of the three-dimensional model is laser-drawn on a powder material laid at unit thickness, the laser-drawn powder materials after respectively solidified by unit thickness are successively laminated and solidified to produce the three-dimensional model for medical application. |
