PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for selling cosmetics, by which a customer can purchase cosmetics suited to the skin of the customer while receiving counseling at home by eliminating the defect of a conventional method for selling cosmetics. SOLUTION: In this method for selling cosmetics, a server computer 5 is accessed from plural terminal computers 1 (1a, 1b, 1x) through a network 4, then the customer transmits the face image of the customer from one of terminal computers 1 (1a, 1b, 1x) to the server computer 5, cosmetics suited to the skin color information of the customer are retrieved or prepared in the server computer 5 of a selling company, a person in charge of a selling counter performs counseling in real time by online presenting the retrieved or prepared cosmetics to the customer, and the customer orders on line the cosmetics desired to purchase among the presented cosmetics. |
