PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively cool an iron core and an induction coil which constitutes an induction heating mechanism. SOLUTION: In a roller body which is rotatable, an induction heating mechanism comprising an iron core and an induction coil wound around the iron core is disposed. The induction coil is composed of a conductor of a hollow structure, and cooling medium is let to flow in a hollow inner part of the conductor. Since an AC voltage is applied to the conductor, the roller body generates induction heat. By sending the cooling medium to flow in the hollow part in the conductor, the conductor is cooled directly. The iron core is also cooled directly by the conductor that has been cooled. The induction coil and the iron core can thus be cooled efficiently.
