PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating device for a fluorescent screen of a cathode-ray tube capable of preventing re-sticking of a coating liquid shaken off to the inner surface of a panel and obtaining a uniform coating liquid film when the excess amount of the coating liquid coated on the inner surface of the panel member is shaken off in the state that the panel of the cathode-ray tube is covered with a shaken-off bath. SOLUTION: This coating device has a rotation keeping part 11 for forming a uniform coating liquid film by shaking off the excess amount of the coating liquid supplied to the inner surface 30a of the panel 30 from an outer peripheral wall end 30g of the panel 30 by centrifugal force produced by holding and rotating the panel 30; and a cover 21 surrounding the panel 30, rotating together with the panel 30, and receiving the coating liquid shaken off the panel 30.
