PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for determining a contribution to RSSI measuring an external jammer signal so that a capacity of a communication system can be better and more effectively be used, and particularly, more effectively use the capacity of an inverse link of the communication system. SOLUTION: This method is for detecting and measuring a contribution by an external jammer signal with respect to all power to be received by an inverse link of a communication system. All the received power with respect to the inverse link is measured. A calculation of a load estimated based on a power increase by background noises and all Eb/N0's is executed. The contribution of the external jammer signal with respect to all the received powers is calculated from the load estimated value. From the capability of calculating a power level of the external jammer signal with respect to the predetermined inverse link, it is possible for a service provider to more effectively use the capacity of the inverse link. A mean value of the calculated external jammer power level can be calculated as to a time period defined by the service provider of the communication system. |
