PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a diaphragm for a loudspeaker capable of obtaining a high sound pressure at low-range frequencies. SOLUTION: A diaphragm is made of polycarbonate material, and has an edge 21 contributing to a frequency characteristic from low-range to middle- range and a cone 22 contributing to the characteristic in high-range. The edge 21 whose cross section in the radial direction is shaped like including an arc projection, and the cone 22 whose cross section in the radial direction is shaped including an arc depression part. Furthermore, a wall thickness of the part 21 or the part 22 is formed in a predetermined range and formed by rolling and cutting materials. Therefore even in the low-rage, over 55 dB high sound pressure is obtained, so that the condition that is a characteristic required for a high-quality loud speaker is obtained.
