PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a stator for a startup motor capable of cost reduction in manufacturing. SOLUTION: In the startup motor, where a plurality of plate-shaped members having a yoke section 3 and a pole section 4, is disposed in a strip, connected and laminated, so that edges of the yoke section 3 of the adjoining plate-shaped members is piled, with a connecting part 2 being bent to form a ring shape, so that the pole section 4 is positioned at the center side; and wherein a laminated iron core 1 capable of forming at least a quasi-linear shape, when operating is used as the stator, a resinous bobbin 5 is mounted between the pole section 4 and a winding 7 that is wound to the pole section 4.
