PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a programmable logic controller(PLC) system consisting of a programmable logic controller and a personal computer that simplifies how to cope with data so as to facilitate an access to the data from both and stabilizes data by preventing interference due to an access from other to the data while the data are used by one. SOLUTION: The PLC system of this invention is provided with a PLC that is a sequencer, a personal computer, a communication line interconnecting the PLC and the personal computer, a common memory placed in the PLC and stores transmission reception data sent/received between the PLC and the personal computer, and a common access memory that is accessible from both the PLC and the personal computer and stores designated data in the transmission reception data stored in the common memory.
