PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electromagnetic shielding sheet which has excellent light transmissiveness and excellent manufacturing efficiency capable of simplifying manufacturing process and also to provide a method of manufacturing the same. SOLUTION: This electromagnetic shielding sheet is characterized in that a black surface of a metal foil mesh which owns at least one of the surfaces having a black surface is oppositely laminated on one surface of a light transmissive film, the method of manufacturing the same comprises the steps of: bringing the black surface of the metal foil mesh which owns at least one of the surfaces having the black surface into contact with one surface of the light transmissive film; softening each film on each contact surfaces by the irradiation of thermal or optical energy from the light transmissive film side, and then joining the metal-foil mesh to the light transmissive film surface to form a laminated layer.
