WATERPROOF STRUCTURE OF CONNECTOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly reliable waterproof structure of a connector capable of improving mounting workability of a waterproof packing and easily coping with the reduction of size and thickness of the connector. SOLUTION: A branch connector body 31 of a branch connector 30 is provided with a housing body 32 storing and holding a connection terminal 33 and a protection hood 40 mounted detachably around a male connector 34 so as to surround and protect the waterproof packing 37 fitted externally in a packing mounting part provided in the male connector part 34 of the housing body 32. The waterproof packing 37 is provided with a seal part 37a adhering closely to an inner peripheral wall of a fitting recessed part 49 of a branch connector 45 and a locking part 37b nipped and fixed by the protection hood 40 mounted in the male connector part 34.
