PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a card-type information recording medium, which manufactures the card-type information recording medium which can be manufactured inexpensively and which has little warpages and changes with lapse of time by using CD manufacturing equipment. SOLUTION: A disk substrate A, having a light incident surface Aa which is formed concentric with an inner peripheral part 1a, a middle peripheral part 1b and outer peripheral part 1c around a central hole 3 and is small in thickness, only in the middle peripheral part 1b and a signal surface Ab formed with signal tracks, is injection molded by using the CD manufacturing equipment and an organic dyestuff film 5, reflection film 6 and protective layer 7 are laminated on a signal surface Ab, followed by the disk medium blanked into a card shape.
