PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fire detector favorably holding fire detecting functions by suppressing effects such as breakage of circuit components by a direct thunder without impairing the design freedom degree of the circuit board incorporated therein in a fire detector to be installed in a tunnel. SOLUTION: This fire detector 10A is provided with an upper cover 11 having translucent windows 16a and 16b and a fitting base 21 having the upper cover 11 detachably fitted thereto. A main circuit board 12 mounting sensor modules 15a and 15b having detecting sensors 31a and 31b is fitted and fixed to the fitting part 11a projecting inward the upper cover via a non-conductive spacer 41 so as to have insulation without electrically directly bringing in contact with the upper cover 11 and the fitting base 21.
