PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compound machine capable of improving the setting operability of the application function of the transmission or reception of facsimile, easy in the management of various kinds of functions constituting the compound machine and excellent in the operability for the counter confirmation. SOLUTION: The compound machine operates by inputting a password assigned to each group. Then, one group counter corresponds to one of the passwords, and the group counter is provided by each of various kinds of functions constituting the composite device. A group of the counters is distinguished to be the group of normally used counters and the group of counters for managers, and only the former one is displayed by normal operation. Concerning setting of the application function concerning the transmission or reception of facsimile, ON/OFF setting of the function, which is basic, is performed at the level of a service man and concerning only functions turned ON by this ON/OFF setting, ON/OFF setting of the functions by an equipment manager can be performed. |
