PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide application for test adaptable in a production line and options adaptable for engineers. SOLUTION: This battery pack serial communication testing device for testing communication to a battery pack through a battery pack serial communication device comprises test executing means 2 for performing type parameter reading, data writing and check, and storage, discrimination and display of the results for the battery pack and option executing means 3 for performing type parameter reading and registration, data writing and check and storage of the results for the battery pack. The test executing means 2 performs writing, check and discrimination of a series of data with the operation of a button and the option executing means 3 performs display of type parameters and display of the communication results from the battery pack with a screen set in upper and lower stages, thus permitting easy communication test even in the production line, easy registration/reading of parameters for every type and storage of the communication results.
