PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a job management method and system that can manage a job executed by an image reader or the like connected to a network and can process charging or the like as required, and to provide a medium in which a job management program is stored. SOLUTION: The job is executed by a network scanner 2, a FAX terminal 3, a FAX server 4 and a composite machine 5 or the like, and a document relating to the job stored in a confidential box of each of them is transferred to a file server 6 and a client 7 that are transfer destinations via a management server 1, thereby acquiring and managing the job information with respect to the document.
