PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the largest number of images that are displayed on a high precision display, but to do so, a buffer capacity must be increased, and it arises an increase of cost due to mounting of more buffers, an increase of circuit scale and a restrain of circuit installation area accompanied with mounting of more buffers. SOLUTION: An external storage device 2, which reads out display data from a storage medium that stores display data generated by PC1, is connected to a page controller 3, based on plural thumbnail data which correspond to plural images read out from the storage medium, thumbnails are displayed in thumbnail areas of the high precision display 4. And, display data of images, which correspond to a thumbnail selected by a user, are read out from the storage medium, and based on the display data, images are displayed in a display area of the high precision display 4.
