PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate dismount of a cabinet while sufficient engaging margin of a locking part in a portable information terminal provided with a cabinet formed by combining an upper case and a lower case. SOLUTION: The lower case 1 has a first protrusion 1b and a fitting pawl, and the upper case 2 has a second protrusion 2b and the locking part. In a state such that the upper case 2 and the lower case 1 are combined with each other, the fitting pawl engages with the engaging part, and the first protrusion 1b is engaged with the second protrusion 2b. When the upper case 2 is isolated from the lower case 1 in the case of dismount, the second protrusion 2b slides along a slant surface of the first protrusion 1b, the upper case 2 expands outward, and the engaging state of the fitting pawl and the locking part is released.
