PURPOSE: Provided is a medicinal herb composition having anti-inflammatory effect obtained from Saururi Herba and Houttuyniae Herba. The composition is a safe anti-inflammatory agent without any side-effect even though chronic administration. CONSTITUTION: The medicinal herb composition having anti-inflammatory effect contains the extract of 2-4 part by weight of Saururi Herba and 1-2 part by weight of Houttuyniae Herba, as an active ingredient. It can be formulated into powders, granules, capsules and tablets. Its dose is 1-10g and orally administered 1-3 times per day.
