PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the shadow of a globe around the base of fluorescent lamp as far as possible. SOLUTION: The lighting apparatus comprises a body 11 equipped a ringed fluorescent lamp 12 under its lower surface which is covered with a translucent globe 13 and the distance between the fluorescent lamp 12 and the lower surface of the body 11 around the position of a base 14 of the fluorescent lamp 12 is made longer than any other positions. A reflecting plate 15 which constitute aw part of the body 11 is prepared out of the position of the base 14 of the fluorescent lamp 12. A lighting circuit 16 including a high-frequency inverter is housed on the upper surface of the reflecting plate 15. |
