PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a long range, low power and two-way communication equipment 100 having a high performance wake-up detector. SOLUTION: This device includes an antenna 114 for transmitting and receiving a signal, an analog part 118 coupled with the antenna 114 and a digital part 120 coupled with the analog part 118. The analog part 118 includes an intermediate frequency down converter, a digital in-phase I output and digital quadrature phase Q output and a 1-bit analog/digital converter for generating digital I and Q outputs is appropriately used. The digital part 120 includes an I/Q derotator for generating I and Q outputs, a wake-up detector including a large output and a threshold comparison circuit coupled with the large output. In one realization, an inner/outer product circuit, an accumulator of I and Q, an inner correlator and an outer correlator can be included. |
