PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a PSK receiver for which a delicate setting with respect to a response speed of an AGC circuit, is not required. SOLUTION: A variable amplifier circuit 12A placed at a pre-stage to a sampling circuit 16 and a variable amplifier circuit 12B placed at a post-stage from the sampling circuit 16 configure a 1st AGC circuit and its response speed depends on an amplitude fluctuation at a comparatively lower speed due to movement or the like of the PSK receiver. A dynamic range of the sampling circuit 16 is decided to pass through amplitude fluctuations at a comparatively higher speed due to fading or the like. The response speed of a 2nd AGC circuit 30 placed at a post-stage from the sampling circuit 16 is decided by amplitude fluctuations at a comparatively higher speed due to fading or the like. The 2nd AGC circuit 30 averages a symbol peak level of a signal to control its gain so as to pass through a level change due to data. |
