摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a superconducting magnet device which is superior in uniformity of magnetic field and capable of automatically decreasing the magnetic field component in the Z direction out of a magnetic field originating from a superconducting magnet, concentrically equipped with two or more spools provided with superconducting coils wound on them, without having to rewind the windings of the superconducting magnet, that has been fabricated once and enhancing the corrective capacity of a shim coil group. SOLUTION: A superconducting magnet device is concentrically equipped with three spools 2, 4, and 6 provided with wound superconducting coils 1, 3, and 5a to 5d. The spool 6 is so provided as to be relatively movable in the axial direction of a magnet with respect to the other spools 2 and 4, and the spool 6 is relatively moved by a electromagnetic force which acts in the axial direction, when a current is applied to the superconducting coils 1, 3, and 5a to 5d, by which the magnetic component in a space near the center of the magnet is reduced automatically in intensity, so as to improve the magnetic field uniformity.
